(Church House Publishing 2004) offers a balanced and scholarly analysis of the arguments both for and against women bishops. 

 

Women Bishops? by Fr John Pitchford (SCM Canterbury Press £3.50) is a short booklet explaining why the majority of Christians in the worldwide Church reject the ordination of women because of our understanding of Scripture, reason and tradition.
